Why is there so much of one genre lately? (I.e. Hip-hop)

While it is pretty clear that hip-hop has the most prominence on Hillydilly.com it does not come from a biased point of view. Hip-Hop pumps out more music these days than any other genre so it’s going to have more of a prominent role. (This of course can be chopped up to musical tastes also). We have no control over the music and all we do is report back to you on what is good in the world of music. So if you are wondering why there is a lack of reggae.rock for example it is not because we are neglecting the genre. It is just that we have not come across anything lately that is worth your attention (in our opinion). Please be patient and you will see your favorite genre’s being covered soon enough.
